"Hi, I'm Chelsea! A Liverpool-based (even though my website will say differently) wedding photographer. I'm a lover of novelty and drawn to the unconventional; most of all, I'm curious about people! I love infusing creativity into weddings and finding the space where reality blends with art.
I was lucky to have a military upbringing. I lived in places such as Germany and Cyprus as a kid, then went to school in the Lake District for a few years and finally at Carlisle for university, where I studied graphic design. Being constantly moved around and surrounded by new people was something I loved growing up. It helped shape my worldview and made being content with a more conventional 9-5 as an adult feel impossible. When I discovered wedding photography, I finally found something that gave me the freedom to meet new people and visit new places and let my curiosity thrive into something that gave me a meaningful outcome for myself and others.
I've won a few wedding awards along the way, so subjectively, I'm told I'm okay at not having a desk job. Last year, I was named a 'Rangefinder Rising Star 2022' and made the Top 10 worldwide for 2022 from 'This is Reportage' and their top 10 UK for two years.”
