“Wedding photography is a very social practice, it’s about people and as photographers we must not forget that. You have to be a people person, after all take tech and your kit spec away and all you’re really left with is your personality and creative eye.

Maintain a voracious appetite for the consumption of visual information; of images, of light, of moments and of people in general - be open, and pay respect to the here and now. Be very generous with intake, curiosity and articulation of moments and the nuances within those moments. Follow the day and the mood and ensure intake is a differentiated - varied intake, because it’s only by being informed by the energy of people (as well as visual culture in general) that you can do your best work”

Nigel is in love with Ruth and dad to two young humans named Elke and Moss.
